Although I consider myself well educated I'm afraid that I'm not that up on

Australian civics... all that aside... WOW! Congratulations, those are some

impressive accomplishments.

I heartily agree and Sue has been a wonderful ambassador for not only the local

area she lives in, but also for the fabulous work she has been doing for the

Leukaemia Foundation in Australia. She is a wonderful role model for us all.

Cheers a proud Aussie

Sue, my " twinnie " (we were diagnosed on the same day in August, although years

apart) heartfelt gratitude and hardy congratulations to you from me. No one

deserves this more than you! I am so glad people recognized your hard work,

dedication and determination. I am in awe of what you've accomplished!

Your kind words humble me, Sue. My fundraising is the only way I know to feel

like I'm doing something for all of us in the face of the evil cancer monster.

We are all so lucky that many people who came before us did the same and that

Druker's research was funded by those grants from the Leukemia & Lymphoma

Society! Look at the chain of miracles it began--Gleevec, Tasigna, Sprycel,

ponitunab--and who knows maybe a cure soon. I just want to be a part of another

miracle and this is the only way I know how. One step at a time, we will get to

another miracle.

Thank you, Sue, for being involved and caring. I will always be a leader in your

cheering section!
