Guest guest
I am so happy for you! This is what it's all about! Do you have RA or another automimmune disease? If it's RA, what is your rheumatoid factor now that it's a cure? Is it back down in the normal range? I know this is sort of a scientific question, since how we feel is the most important thing. Keep on keeping on, and enjoy your health. : )
Guest guest
Hi all finally got results of my last pcr and am again pcru, such a relief after having shingles and being very unwell for the past 6 weeks. As I have been zero now for the past 3 years my doctor is going to trial me reducing the dose of Glivec from 600 to 400mg. I've been having severe cramping and tendant soreness on 600mg and my doctor is hopeful the lower dose will reduce some of the nastier side effects. I have now been on glivec for 6 and 1/2 years so reducing the dose is quite exciting. It means I will go back to 3 monthly testing to be sure I remain pcru. If the counts begin to rise I can easily increase the dose again. So wish me luck ! Judy t 699 Zero Club
Guest guest
Good luck. I am sure that you will do well on the lower doseage of Gleevec which I believe most of the group takes. I'm sorry to hear that you had the shingles. I understand that it is very painful. Now that you are over it, I feel that things will go forward with you.
