Guest guest
There are different kinds of Vitamin D and I think the best person for advice is a doctor who does bone density tests. That is who prescribes for me. If your doctor makes you laugh, he can't be too upset about answering questions about Vitamin D. There have been so many articles about Vitamin D and I am trying to keep up with all of them. Sometimes they can be confusing. It's like when someone says they have leukemia, you have to ask them what kind. It's the same with Vitamin D. I don't get outdoors enough to get the Vitamin D I need, but a blood test will alert the doctor as to how much you need. Mine showed that I was deficient. I am so happy for you that you are doing so well. I still look in the lobby for that orange cap. LOL The other thing is that you have so much loving support from reading your Caringbridge site. You could be a poster person for the older group undergoing a BMT past the normal age. They are developing new ways of treating older people and also avoiding some of the GVHD. We know it is necessary, but some have a worse time of it than others. You uplift us all with your positive attitude, so we know that almost anything is possible. Jimmy sends his regards to you and your dad. xoxox Lottie
