Guest guest
Hi Lottie. I hope that you do well with the Clonindine Patch. As I told you I was initially put on it, but developed a rash from the adhesive. So, I was changed to pills. That is when I had the problem. It seemed like my body kept wanting a continuing higher doseage. I wound up with a .2 taken every 6 hours. Even at that, if I had too much salt or something upset me, my pressure skyrocketed. Had I stayed on the patch, maybe it would not have happened. Keep a blood pressure monitor around and periodically check your pressure. With clonindine you will experience a headache and feel warm if you pressure is rising. As for the Vitamin D , I keep it now at 800 units instead of the 2,000 that Robyn and I used. I add up the units in the daily multiple Vitamin and Citrical with D and find I get the 800 units needed. Certainly in New Jersey with the major blizzard, I haven't benefited from being in the sun. Sandi > > Dear Sandi & > You bring up an important subject and one we should keep in mind if we are athletic and are going in for tests, Chris. Sandi, as for the Vitamin D, my doctor is a foremost physician when it comes to endocrinology and he prescribed Vitamin D2 once a month. Perhaps in light of all the problems I am having with my kidneys, we should review that, but I am not an outdoor person, since I cannot walk on grass or uneven flooring, so it is probably my best avenue to get the Vitamin D that I need. I will certainly look into it and skip my monthly pill and see if that has any effect. Yesterday I started the Clondine patch. I know how you feel about it, but it is infinitely better than ingesting it and all the other drugs that are making me sick. I am up that creek again. Now where is that paddle??????
