Guest guest
Hi Everyone: Wanted to say to everyone Happy New Year. Hope everyone will be better with their AIH this coming year. And anyone with a liver Disease... I have been lurking, try to read all the posts. Cliff went to Boston today, we were so worried. As the MRI showed a larger growth, and he had to have a biopsy-- with ultra sound. HE was so worried ,as he has had a biospy before, in our hometown. Anyways, we left early,... they took him in late, etc. the ultra sound showed only a centameter (sp) in size , the change... so, Cliff was did not have to have a biopsy. He was so glad. And so was I . As, he was so nervous!!! He woke up this morning at 2:30..... For the new comers, Cliff has Hep C.. and now has cirrhosis......He is on the waiting list. I always think of the group, but, don;t always post... And , I am sorry, that , I don't know much about AIH>>>> but, here to listen.... Any liver disease is terrible!!!! We are living it. Hopefully, this year, 2004.. Will be better for all of you-- and will be for Cliff.. He will get a liver, and be well, so he can go back to work.. and be himself.. Of course, he will be on medication for Hep C,also. Today, we were happy that Cliff doesn't have any tumors, growths.... Now it is back to the waiting , waiting for that call. We hope all of you feel better this new year.. And hope there is a cure for all liver disease. Happy New Year!!!!!!!! Guest guest
Hello Gaynel and Cliff, I am so glad that the tumor was not growing and that Cliff didn't have to have the biopsy. Yes, liver disease is such a bad disease. So unpredictable. I will keep you and Cliff in my thoughts and prayers Gaynel. I hope that 2004 is much better for us all. We live on hope , from day to day, don't we? I too, hope Cliff gets his new liver soon, and recovers as quickly as possible so he can be back to doing some of the things he enjoys doing. Let's try and make it a good 2004. Blessings and best wishes, and ((((many hugs))) Lyn in Ark.Gaynel508@... wrote: Hi Everyone: Wanted to say to everyone Happy New Year. It has been a long time since I've posted on here also. I'm a lurker now with hardly any time to myself. I'm still the same and not in remission. The weather does not want to cooperate at all!! I hope everyone is fine and has had a happy holiday. Hopefully this will be the year that they find a cure for all this crap we have. Take care, Dawn FMS, ReA, AS, Sjogrens, GERD, IBS, Empysema, Connective Tissue Disorder and the list goes on
Guest guest
Dawn, I agree with you. If Congress or whoever signs money over to research diseases don't get with it, the whole world is going to have this " crap. " I myself have a whole herd of these diseases,I won't name them all, but now my 25 year old son is suffering with AS,UC,and Celiac Sprue. What a mess he is going thru. I know if they don't find something soon, I'll be gone, and he will suffer long and hard. I pray that there will be a cure. I am getting pretty tired of fighting this stuff. I have been for 41 years now, and it doesn't stop spreading or slow down. All my Drs. shrug their shoulders, and guess at what to do next. It's not like we are having a productive or joyfilled life with this stuff. So, why don't they (researchers) put the same effort they put into cancer research, or MS? I am sure even if they are going to die from their disease, at least they see the end of the tunnel. As for us, we just see more pain in the future. And another thing, Car Makers begging for bail out money from our government, which is us? Geese, we are left twisting in the wind, while they spend the money on whatever party they want to throw. I wish we had that power to reach the guys with the money to give away. Or maybe each one of them should reseave the gift that keeps on giving, and they will see why we are begging for help. Well, Happy New Year to everyone, and put in a few more prayers for all of the members and people who need to be members in this group. Where is our hand up? Bless all of you, D, Oregon
Guest guest
I have not been on to post with all the goings on around here with the holidays, and then we got hit really hard with that blizzard this past weekend. I fell outside in the snow trying to shovel, and was laying out there for awhile before my husband found me. I am hurting pretty bad with some sprains, but nothing broken Thank God. Just praying now for a better 2011 for myself and everyone else that I care about like all of you. Enjoy whatever your plans may be, and Stay Safe.
