Re: study effectiveness of ERP/treatment resistance

Hi Sinead, I usually refer to 3 of my kid as having ocd based on

level or resistance/disability, but my 13 yr daugter old has OCD

(somewhat transient spells, but obviously CD, when under greater

stress-as when she switched to independent study from private

homeschooling) and uses ERP to boss it back, so thre's little little

disruption to her lifestyle. I would not say she is happy go lucky

carefree extrovert, and some peopel seem to think she needs be

more " out there " competing or something I guess, but she does fine.

She even tried meds but decided knowing about OCD and not letting it

boss her was enough. She has good insight and motivation, so I do not

even refer to her as having OCD. So the personality " context " for the

OCD, and comorbidities, can have a significant effect.
