Guest guest
I: n the corner of the mail icon in my mailbox appears a tiny picture icon. Many of the emails also have the attachment disk stuck on the back of the mail icon. The picture icon states that they have pictures attached. Your replies to grape fragrance oils and flavor oils both contained pictures and attachments. Do we have a mystery here? Lizz
Guest guest
I'm not using stationary unless it's on the "reply" that I do. But I don't see any sign showing an "attachment" when I get them. Where do you see it? -Ilion attachments I know----you guys are all using stationary. Guest guest
Yes. is right. I look at every attachment that comes through the list to make sure it was intended to be placed there. If I find anything out of the norm I'll post a huge warning about it and turn off our attachments until a better time. Emails containing attachments can't hurt you unless the attachment is opened... good rule of thumb is not open attachments. A lot of us use stationary so thats what your seeing. Guest guest
Hi Lizz I bet it has something with the way AOL does their mail. I noticed that you and Kathy both have AOL and Kathy said the same thing. Is your email marked to accept HTML? If it isn't, you're going to have this problem. -Ilion Re: attachments I:n the corner of the mail icon in my mailbox appears a tiny picture icon. Guest guest
Pat, I have to agree that all attachments should be deleted with prejudice, but I have wondered for some time now, and never thought to ask, why doesn't just change the Group Settings to prohibit attachments? Check the main page at and look for " Group Settings " in the lower right hand corner - it says " Email attachments are permitted " . -- Ron > Sorry to say but the list has received " attachment only " posts > that I have had to delete. Guest guest
I am sorry I did that to you. I found a new letter maker that is a lot of fun so I was sending out a few of the e-cards. Some are real cute. Would you feel like having lunch next week? or at least before school starts. Kim -- Attachments All....I am pouting because I can't see your photos or anyone's stationery, etc. There is a strict rule in our house that doesn't allow me to open any mail with ANY sort of attachment. Hubby and I both run our businesses over the WWW from our house and we don't want to risk a major problem.So.... I often miss parts of our conversations. If I ask a dumb question (rather regularly) it may be because I haven't been in on everything.
