I think that is probably OK. This is what I was afraid of. With the following options:

Attachments

* Store on site (exclude from emails)

* Include in emails (exclude from site)

* Exclude from site and emails

The way I see it they will let us have it one way or the other but not both.

Seems weird to me. Is this something I should ask for an explanation for from

?

I've got to go and turn in to Mr. Mom and pick up a kid but later I could

compose a question if you feel I should.

I guess one way is better than what we had before, which was no way.

Bless all,

Randy

I just checked and your data 225 epele is in the data base.  This is the highest does we have. Has it completely reversed most of your problems?CE Grim MDOn Apr 20, 2009, at 2:59 PM, rsheltondavis wrote:a....Hip, hip, hurray! Randy,

This is more lenient than was in the past, used to be there were absolutely no attachments allowed in their groups. This setting is fine for me personally. If anything is that important that it needs to become a permanent fixture of the group it can be added to the "Files" section. Otherwise you'll get the attachment in your personal email from the group. Let's see how other members feel about it.

The way the settings are now, anyone can attach a file to a posting they make to the group site. The attachment will not show up on the group site but will show up attached to the email you get from the group in your personal mailbox. It's up to the individual who gets it to open it or not. If a member is reading off the website only they won't get the attachment. The problem was trying to avoid is that so many viruses are programed to send emails with the virus in an attachment to everyone in your address book. I guess figures everyone should have an anti-virus program by now.

Dr. Grim, I'll be leaving about 4PM today for my yearly vacation with my sister to Myrtle Beach. I'll be out of touch on purpose, we don't take computers and only check our cell phones once per day. If you need anything else from the survey data please let me know. Otherwise I'll be back online in about 8 days.

Thought it was on.

I check all messages at the server before download.

Large attachments can fill the buffer quickly.

Pictures can carry viruses, but people keep sending them around the world.

So far my virus pro has isolated them.

Haven't seen any from this group.
