Guest guest
OO will open it without fuss. It will also save it so it can be opened by it's creator. IME, a very useful toolset. And it's free. I like office and I'm used to it and I still use it on this PC, but my laptop has OO and it works great. I haven't used it for MSACCESS files yet. If you had used say Office 2007 to save your files, I probably wouldn't be able to open it. Max, et al, may have older versions of office. Guest guest
You will love it more because Archive's beauty is that attachments to posts are not sent to members in large emails, but rather they stay in Attachments folder and if a member like to access it s/he can do so without worry of receiving large emails from the Group. Furthermore, while new members are moderated there is no reason for getting junk either as posts or attachments. Max. HOKAY I will reset tonight. Still we can get too much junk. Guest guest
Best is to save as *.pps (not *.ppt) and attach to email, post it to Group. Attachment goes to Attachment folder. Do the animations transitions work? I would like upload a number of my ppt talks if the can be easily viewed. Guest guest
This is what I get when I click on Attachment folder. The Group's Email Attachment Archive setting is currently set to not archive attachments.
