Guest guest
Hello everyone, I owe my life to the blood transfusion service as I was diagnosed after giving a unit of blood and a very high white cell count being detected at their lab. I'm assuming they run a routine test on each batch. I hope so! It's a bugger that none of us can donate blood or organs - but we can give a little of our time to help other people with CML or similar and prove to them that life goes on. I'll be out of touch for a couple of weeks as we're setting off with our caravan to try it out next week. There might be wi-fi (the French all is wee-fee, isn't that cute?) at one of the sites but I'm not counting on it. So everybody please stay well and keep out of mischief. Best wishes, Shelagh
