Guest guest Posted April 1, 2012 Report Share Posted April 1, 2012 Thanks to all for the help with airport security, we made it to Austin and now we are hoping all goes well on the return trip! went swimming on our first day here, stepped on a piece of wood and lodged a splinter deep in her foot. She will walk but I can tell it hurts...ugh! We wont be home until late Tuesday. We've been soaking her foot in Epsom salts trying to keep infection away since she actually cut her foot and the splinter is deep in the cut...not sure what else we can do. Any suggestions? Does not look infected yet but I'm definitely worried about that! I feel terrible for her because she does not want to walk or swim and she was so looking forward to swimming! Thanks!
