Guest guest
That's wonderful news, !!! If he has done enough of that type of surgery, and he saiys he is confident, then chances are that he is right!! That has been my experience doing those types of surgeries, anyway. But, I'll keep my prayers coming just in case the pathologist finds it otherwise. Hope your mom gets to feeling better....Love and Prayers.....Marina/Ohio

Sharon's biopsy was yesterday morning. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Will follow up with confirmation when it comes. ended up going with Sharon yesterday. I had planned to - and then got socked in with a snow storm on Sunday. Guest guest
I was overly nervous last time I went through it about 6 years ago. I filled out a form first, then had to give a urine sample and actually had to get undressed! The time before that it had been over 10 years and all I did was have my b.p. taken ... what a difference. The doc was looking to see how I moved, any pain, etc., checked my b.p. and found it was too high for their standards so I had to prove I saw a doctor and was under his care ... nothing was said about my weight which is up there, too. They were just looking for anything that would keep me from doing my job ... there wasn't, my weight wasn't even involved. Take a deep breath and trust God ... like your friend says. Guest guest
Tess, That's GREAT news!! I am so glad for you!! Be sure that you tell them ALL the meds you are on. It's important for the drug screen. Don't worry about having narcotics in your system if your doctor has prescribed them for you. When I took on a second job with a surgery center, they didn't ask about my meds (i didn't do the medical exam part, i just told them I have RA) but they did do a drug screen. The doctor who was running the test called me at home to ask me if I was prescribed Vicodin and I told him that I was. He just wanted the name and number of my pharmacy to check that I did have a prescription there. Funny, though, I would have thought that the pharmacy couldn't give out that info without my consent, what with the HIPPA regulations now days!! Way to go, Tess. Good luck at your exam....Love and Prayers.....Marina

Guest guest
Hi Penny, That is wonderful news! I hope the casting goes well. And I don't think it even compares to a blood draw!!! It is hard to watch your child when you know they're in pain, but casting is completely painless and many babies don't cry at all. Those who do are probably upset with being held down more than anything! Oh, did the do the measurements again? Was there any change?
