I have the Big Berkey, and its quality of water is superior. I do have

the optional fluoride filters too:

Hmmm... I didn't see anywhere on their site where it even mentions

fluoride... do you have a link to the page where you read that it

removes it?

Thanks for the link on the Berkey, I have e-mailed them a couple of questions about the flouride. Someone said on a health forum that it doesnt actually take out the flouride regardless of what they say, so that kind of put me off getting one! Although lots of other people on forums really notice a difference when they use the Berkey, now including you,so I shouldnt let that put me off.About the link below, on the Home Page, If you go into Consumer Filter, & click on the Table top model....Read more.....it will tell you all the chemicals that it removes, flouride being one of them.ValFrom: Tanstaafl <tanstaafl@...> Sent: Fri, 10 September, 2010 16:19:35Subject: Re: [ ] Re: Tom

Only way to tell for sure would be to pay for some independent tests -

but the same goes for any other filter/claim too...

A random forum posting from some unknown is certainly not enough to put

me off of anything though...

I had been buying the highly purified water from Harry's for years. In

all honesty, I think the water from the Berkey tastes considerably

better, and I can assure you it was not expected (so no chance of it

being imaginary - in fact I half expected to be returning it, but I'm

now considering buying a couple more).

Hi Tom

I am with you. Cyber Hugs from my elastic arms - I could not have put it better

myself.

I am always chatting to someone.

People at times ask me what my greatest joy is and I say breathing and laugh.

I do not notice the small stuff and like you absolutely enjoy my life.

I can honestly say that I have the best life.

CML has given me a " new normal " and live with the shadow of CML and that little

tablets that save our lives

In fact someone asked me the other day is there anything positive of living with

CML.

Living is the answer. I ticked off dozens of wonderful things that have happened

in

my life from having CML that I would not have experienced if I did not have it.

Fund Raising, meeting new and people from various walks of life that I would

not have possibly met previously.

Enjoying my life and thankful for it and the list grows larger by the day. Tom

could be my book-end

- I am becoming even more patient whereby pre-cml my biggest personality fault

was that I was intolerant of many things

including fools. That is something I still have to overcome - but I can flick

their foolhardy statements away.

I still have the same side effects as Tom.

I have a new one which is my hair is having a repigmentation moment and has

colouring of brown and my hair is thicker.

Keep Well all.

Must leave quick - have cramp in my second big toe on my left foot. Karma moment

speaking about side effects Tom. Ouch !!

Besides all of the physical side effects that all of you are talking about, I

have noticed that I don't really if I have to wait extra long in line at the

grocery store as I usually start a conversation with a stranger and get to know

someone new, I don't really care if I get stuck at a red signal light as I can

always find something good on the radio, and I have this extreme side effect of

enjoying my day to day life much more than I did pre-cml!

Nausea - yes, cramping - yes, muscle pain - yes......much better to feel these

side effects than the alternative.....

we

could

all

be

6

feet

under!

Enjoy what we have been given!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

I have been struggling the last few months and I now know it is because I lost

diagnosed with CML!!!

Thank you for reminding me of what I already knew!!
