Guest guest
dear lottie, pat is having a hard time with the news that when he is ccr and pcru he will still have to be on his meds for the rest of his long life.most of the time i really do not feel strong. on top of our good news pats day program is going to drop him in july, they call it graduating. funding was drasticaly cut here in north carolina. i hope il can find something for hhim as he will just sit and veg all day in front of his tv.with gas prices going thru the roof he can't even go fishing so we will just drive each other crazy.he will be 40 in september and his weight just keeps going up. he hides food and buys junk when i can't find my bank card out of his savings.i won't let him have junk food in the house. i will just keep plugging on what else can i do? peggy From: Lottie Duthu <lotajam@...> Subject: [ ] Pat's Results " CML " < > Date: Wednesday, February 23, 2011, 4:50 PM Â Dear Peggy, I know that after all the agony you endured getting Pat's BMA and the waiting period thereafter, you are relieved to hear good news. That's the fingernail biting part. Does he understand any of the implications, or does he just do whatever he is told? I don't know if I would have understood all of the mumbo jumbo at age 14. You certainly have a cross to bear , not minimizing what poor Pat has to bear for his part. This has to be extremely difficult for you, because you have your own very serious health problems. God bless you and Pat for getting through this maze and rat race. When I think of strong people who undergo such suffering in life that it is difficult to see the sun beneath the clouds, I think of you and how you have to take care of Pat. I salute you for all your efforts and I don't think that a day goes by without me thinking of you. For all the strong women of the world, you have to be at the very top. Carpe Diem, Lottie Duthu
Guest guest
Hi Peggy: I have not been on here much due to some problems of my own, and just not feeling that good. Sorry I have not kept in touch with you. That was good news for Pat, and you will see things work out. You have had it rough, but you have been a great Mom. Thats all you can do. You will find something for him to do, and just remember that there are others in worse shape than you and Pat. Funding has been cut for so many things, and everyone is struggling to make ends meet. You are not alone. As far as the junk food, its very hard for you to keep after him every minute. Just know that you are doing the best you can. You cannot ask for more than that. Things always have a way of working out just when your at your wits end. I know from experience. You will be okay you'll see. Just Thank God for how good Pat is doing with the CML. > > > From: Lottie Duthu <lotajam@...> > Subject: [ ] Pat's Results > " CML " < > > Date: Wednesday, February 23, 2011, 4:50 PM > > > Â > > > > Dear Peggy, > I know that after all the agony you endured getting Pat's BMA and the waiting period thereafter, you are relieved to hear good news.
