, that's very interesting! It also goes to show just how differently

some doctors look at and interpret the same information. Actually, I'm happy

for you, that you are doing so well without the medication. My side effects

are not too bad at this time, mostly just fatigue... it fluctuates between

mild to moderate... don't know how much is from age, from being out of shape

or the medication... I suspect a little of all three.

As a side note, I was diagnosed on 2/10/3003... Happy Anniversary!

The fatigue part is the most grueling part for me. It probably reduced 50% or

more since I have not been on Gleevec. The other 50% is combined lack of

activity (most of my life unless I was on a remodel or repair project) and age.

The age and other problems keep me distracted from excerise(LOL). I don't

remember the exact date in Feb. that I was told. I had my BMB the middle of the

month, and the results a week or so later. Then I had about 4 weeks of pills

and consulting BMT specialists preparing to take Gleevec.

The date is easy for me to remember, my grandmother's birthday was 1/10 and

my brother's is 3/10... 2/10 right in the middle.

Can I blame the typo on the Gleevec, it was 2003 not 3003?
