Guest guest
Dear Judi, I will pray for your family. It is so hard to think of a family with three beautiful little ones breaking up. I kept that thought in mind and stayed married with abuse for twenty years until I could stand it no longer. If I had to do it all over again, I might would stay until my children were gone. It is so hard raising children by yourself. You are giving your daughter the right advice. I hope that if they stay together, they will seek help. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Guest guest
Judi, Once a mother, always a mother. What a wonderful gift you are to your daughter now and always. You also carry with you a christian background and church family for support. Counseling sounds like a good idea. Sometimes the biggest problems with marriages is the communication or lack there of. I hope that Duane will be receptive to counseling. I'm sorry for you having to go through this. Prayers will be with you and your extended family. Guest guest
Sandi, I will most certainly keep Shelby in my prayers this week. And you too! had heart surgery at 12 weeks of age. And as hard at that was, he has no memory of it. It must be so hard to prepare an older child for this. I hope the surgery goes well and that the recover is quick. Prayers needed Hi, My daughter Shelby, (6 DS, CD) will be having open heart surgery this Thursday, March 25, to repair her Mitral valve. She had three surgeries as an infant to repair a PDA, A/V Canal and Mitral valve, as well as implant a permanent pacemaker. She has outgrown the original repair to her Mitral valve, and although she has been on medication for the past two years, her heart has increasingly enlarged over the past six months. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers over the next week! This will be a very tough time for her and our entire family (we have two younger children, ages 2 1/2 and 14 months). Thank you for your support! Sandi Long, mom to Shelby, Stuart and @ @ @ @ @ ,,\)/,,,\)/,,,\)/,,,\)/,,,\)/,,

Guest guest
Tawny, Since I'll have more time on my hands now, I've decided to spend more time in prayer so your daughter will be on my prayer list. What's her name? My girl friend's son just came home from Iraq after a year as an MP there. We had his name on our church prayer list, and the hummer he was riding in was hit by gunfire, but only the hummer was damaged, not the men! I'll keep Mom in my prayers too so you won't worry too much. Keep an angel on your pillow, Judi ---
Guest guest
Tawny, Will pray for your daughter. My son has been away from his family for over a year now. We were lucky, though, he is with the 101 1st Air Refueling Division out of Bangor, Me. He has been homeland defense. But it's still hard. Keep us up on what's happening. Guest guest
My friends wife had a biopsy done on her kidney yesterday, it is cancerous and as yet the doctor does not know if it has spread, they will not remove it, but will resort to chemo for now. This poor lady has been through cancer before, once with uterine ,and another with cancer, this time she had no warnings about cancer except for some bleeding.. Her husband is devastated, they lost their only daughter at age 23 to accident, she had two kids whom they raised and put through LSU. and now this. Please say prayers for them Thanks a lot! anne

Poor guy has accepted it, he says she is going to get chemo, but I think that Sally has myeloma, a fast moving death sentence, my sister got that, she had not found a melanoma on her back of the leg and the doctor did, she was put into ST ' Hospital in London, it only took three more weeks and she was gone.Myeloma spreads that fast Anne

Guest guest
Jeepers... and what's the latest on Grandpa? Hope Sierra is feeling MUCH better and stays that way for a long, long time, and hope that A.J.'s problems are minimal and easily fixable. My husband was taking an antibiotic (E-mycin) many years ago and woke up in the night thinking - rather, CONVINCED - he was having a heart attack. We had 2 small children, so my dad took him to the ER, where it was determined that he'd had a common allergic (and SCARY) reaction to E-mycin. Yikes. Many prayers for ALL of you! Keep us posted as your sanity will allow.... Helen

I have a daughter (Meryl) who suffered a grand mal seizure at the age of 12 due to an AVM that had bled... she had brain surgery and recovered well - she will be 22 tomorrow. This brings back to me that horrid week oh-so-many years ago..... and a tear to my eye for your friend.
