Hi Kathy,

Anyway you can get your 6 yr old to swallow pills. Mine does, and it makes it

much easier.

Thanks Judy. That is what I started working on tonight.

After I started putting the package together I realized

the labels on the solutions are the dead give away.

I have 6 days to work it out. Any suggestions on how to teach

to swallow?

Our son has never had a problem with swallowing pills, but my niece

did. My sister said she had her practice with M & Ms. She was eager to

do that. lol Then it was easy to get the pills down.

my son learned to swallow pills with ice cream! It took a while but

he now does it with water!

As for swallowing pills, I used peanut butter with some success, but

when we finally got serious about it, I tried the mini m & ms first,

then " graduated " to the regular m & m's after he mastered the minis.

When he got good at that, I tried real pills and paid $1 per

successful pill. But honestly, it was not until HE got serious at

age 11 that HE started taking pills regularly. And even when he did,

we used to cut everything in half to make it really small, etc. I am

not sure I would try this on an overnight while your child will be

away and possibly nervous already because even if things go well in

practice sessions, the real time trial could yield a different

result.
