Guest guest Posted March 11, 2004 Report Share Posted March 11, 2004 hello all, My doc has stopped the folic acid and is starting me on Leukovorin. Anyone taken this? I was told is is similar to folic acid but stronger or more effective. I have been in an on going battle of sorts with my job on my return to work. They are so stupid they can't even follow there own set of rules. They get upset when I use there own rules against them and call them on violating there rules. So I wait and see what they say. They asked once again for clarification of my work restrictions from my doctor. The sad part is they are really pissing off my doc and his nurse! Each time the HR dept wastes my doc's time or his nurse he gets angry and rewrites my restrictions even more detailed and restrictive. I can't understand why they have problems with my restrictions. I can only work 4 hrs and out of that four hours I can only stand a total of 2.5hrs. But they need clarification....they are read those orders as I can stand for the no long than 2.5 hrs without a 10 minute break and then go back to standing for the remaining time. So we shall see how it all turns out. I just keep telling them at work they need to get there act together and figure out am I going back to work or not! I am also working with an ADA, disability, labor dispute lawyer and he is full of advice as well build a descrimination case against my employer.
