Guest guest
Hi Lee, Did anyone from this list ever contact you? I don't know if this will help you at all, but in this months edition of our Canadian " Alive " magazine they did mention that The Canadian Breast Cancer Network puts women with breast cancer and survivors in touch with each other. (If no one came forward to help you from this list, perhaps you could contact the CBCN and maybe they could direct you to a group with survivors of Melanoma.) http://www.cbcn.ca/ Perhaps other list members will have some other suggestions. I hope you are able to find the support you are looking for. Guest guest
Hi The lymph nodes are filtering out disease - and the cancers cells have caught there. He should be speaking with an oncologist about treatment - in my case it involved removal of the lymph node. He should also be ensuring he has a good diet and is avoiding smoking, heavy drinking etc. Love and Healing Ian [ ] melanoma My step father's melinoma has moved to his lymph. Any help on stopping it from spreading?
Guest guest
Hi Destiny, One of our chatters has a site called survive cancer. I will see if I can find one of his posts so you can take a look at his site. Also Tom from our group has had success with keep new cancer at bay for 2.5 years. I wonder if your fathers cancer was all ready in the works before starting LDN, of if it just did not work to keep it at bay for him. I am glad to hear that it helped with Parkinson's. My mom has Parkinson's. I would love to hear what success he has seen with LDN, if you have time. Thanks Aletha
Guest guest
Destiny, There is nothing wrong with cutting out skin lesions. My father-in-law has had over 30 of them cut out over the years. I have had 4 removed myself. ly it is a quick and easy fix. If you can cut it out and not hurt the integrity of your body, do so and quickly. The goal is quality of life. Early stage and pre-cancerous melanomas can be dealt with quite successfully in this manner. Why in the world would he not do that? We just found out that he has a melanoma on his arm that will have to be surgically removed. He has an appt. on Tuesday to meet with the surgeon to go over. We will know more about follow up then. I know a lot has been written about LDN and cancer. I could really use some info on what we might do or continue doing. I feel fairly positive that all will be okay, but I am concerned. He had prostate cancer 5 to 6 years ago and it was successfully treated. Hopefully we will have positive results again. Thank you for anything you can share. I coped by telling myself it probably wasn't cancerous and even if it were, they'd just take some extra skin around the site. It (to me) wasn't the same level of worry as if they had found cancer inside me. It came back it was the type of mole that can turn into cancer, so they took some extra skin around it, and just kinda monitor my body for any other suspicious moles. He shaved it off, the biopsy won't be back for 1-2 weeks. I am worried sick......my brother has stage 3 melanoma..... How does one cope with not knowing?
