Guest guest
Hi, Gang, Update on my foot and crooked toe --- I saw orthopod and also DPM (foot doc). Was more impressed with foot doc and I did ask about his schooling. He showed me that an orthopedic doc had cut off half my joint on my big toe a couple of years ago when I had bunion surgery. This limits my possibilites now and is what caused my second toe next to biggest to push underneath other toes. The callous on bottom of foot is making me walk funny and causing pain. I am headed for othotics and shoes that don't bend my toes (hiking boots). So won't I look pretty at work in the office with hiking boots??? I just try to laugh and grateful I can still walk of course. I also work with some really great people. You are all such a super group, just wanted to keep you posted... Next week I see a hand doc... Decisions, decisions...what to fix first - hand or foot... Kay
Guest guest
Kay, I'm having problems with one toe when I put shoes on but If I wear tennis shoes it doesn't bother me but I think it's a bunion. What bother you more your hand or feet? I'm very HAPPY with my hand and I'm glad I did the surgery. Next week I will see if I will have knee replacement, not sure if I will have it done but I can't stand the pain any more and I know my knee has fluid and I will have to have it drain. My cartilage is damaged too. No more injection for me ... My last injection for my knee was in Nov & it didn't work cuz In Dec my DR wanted to do it again and I said No way .....Hurts to much....I'm looking for New DR cuz this DR that I have now loves to give injection for everything. I remember one time he wanted to do my knee, my hand & shoulder.... Kay, It's hard to make a Decision but think about the pain and what hurts more ur hand or foot. Take care.
