Guest guest
Dear Penny, A most interesting history, thanks for sharing. You did the right thing, you started at the beginning. LOL That is quite a history you have had with Gleevec. I know it must have been hard, because it sounds very much like INF, but I'm sure you are glad you hung in and now the side effects are at a minimum. I read an article recently that said some people drop out because of side effects and then there is no record of them trying anything else. Others just take meds part time. I take my meds 100% of the time when I am supposed to, I don't think it is to our advantage to be haphazard about it. We will look forward to your next post. Moving back and forth could not be that easy. I know what you mean about the crime, it sounds like New Orleans. Good luck with the twins going away to college. Hopefully one day you will be a grandmother like some of us and you will have more stories about them. You know, yours are always the most beautiful in the world. Well they are, kinda, after your own children, of course. LOL I have 7 grandchildren and lost count of the greats, but I have a great great grandson. I was talking to my granddaughter on the phone and he was running around when she told him I was on the phone, so he stopped long enough to shout in the receiver, " I love you maw maw " , laughed and went on about his business. I thought that was so cute, if I could have, I would have reached down into the phone and hugged him. He was so bad when he was younger, cried all the time for his mom and never said anything but " no " . He's nearly two, so we are awaiting the terrible 2's for the next change.
