Guest guest
Hi Pegasus!!! Yes the moving is probably the culprit that has put you in so much pain! Sounds like you are in a Flare up!!! You have Fibromyalgia, right??? Which lupus were you diagnosed with??? There are three of them!!! I thrash all night also. But my Husband is a sound sleeper, so that helps ) I have only woke him up a few times in our 33 1/2 years together!!! That's pretty good!!! When I'm real bad I will sleep on the couch as I feel guilty about all the thrashing around...Keep us informed about what the Dr. has to say!!! {{{ Pain Free Hugs }}} Helen Helen,Yep, I am done moving. I have been in extreme pain for the last 3-4 days maybe as a reaction to the moving and then cleaning by hand about 5-6 sinkloads of dishes in 2 days. Due to that, I have been taking 10 pills (all OTC) 3 times a day ad following the nighttime version with 3-4 beers to be able to sleep. On the weekdays, I sleep separate from hubby due to the pain that I have been in as well as my restless legs so that he can get good sleep since he is working 56 hours a week as a carpenter (heavy duty physical work). Well, over the weekend, he had Saturday and Sunday off and he said Saturday night that I kept him awake by holding a conversation in my sleep (in 2 or more different voices!) - I never knew that I talked in my sleep (I am just glad that he said that it was about mundane things like the weather rather than about whether I found a particular actor yummy ROFLMAOPMP!) and that Sunday night I kept him awake by whimpering in my sleep. Since he ended up on the floor in the living room each night, needless to say, today he INSISTED that I call up my doctor for an appointment today. So, I will be seeing the doctor on Wednesday, August 1 at 8:30 in the morning about the EXTREME pain that I have been having in the spinal portion of my lower back, my hips (left worse than the right), my knees and my jaw (I have TMJ). I also with discuss with him the moderate to extreme stiffness that I have been having in all of my fingers and the numbness that I get in my legs. Guest guest
Wow !!!! I'm jealous !!!! That a neat computer !!! When I get rich I am going to get me a new one instead of this slow thing I have...But at least it's working this week ) But it does have a mind of its own ) Congratulations on your new purchase !!!! Now you can POST more, RIGHT ) {{{ Computer Hugs }}} Helen T. how have you been?I have been doing pretty good. Made a SLIGHT mistake today by yellingat hubby for not letting me sleep until 3 PM because "I have a class at 6 PMat Gateway and want to be awake and not blurry-brained for it!" Well, alongcomes 3 PM, I am packing my purse for the class and take one last glance atthe card where I wrote down the time and date of the class and it says "Mon.5th 6-9 PM" OOOOOOOOOOPPPPPSSSSS!!!!! Well, hubby had already walked downto his brother's house to eat before going to work, so, I called there andapologized for yelling at him for MY mistake. But, at least now he KNOWSwhich phone dials the loudest! I also told him that our main lines headsetwill be in his room Monday daytime since all of the daytime phone calls arefor him, anyways LOL!UMMM, did I mention on here that on September 28, 2001, my old@!@#%$^%*^(* & )(* computer went dead-as-a-doornail for the very last time,so, hubby sent me out to computer comparison shop and I came back afterordering a new Gateway computer with a 1.5 GHz Pentium IV chip, 80 GB ofhard drive, 128 MB RAM,a CD-R/W drive, a PC camera, Windows XP and a niceBIG monitor (17"). On October 4, I went to the Super-WalMart and picked upa computer desk with a hutch which I put together all by myself LOL - Iended up basically ruining the flat headed screwdriver part of my Swiss Armyknife LOL. The Gateway was delivered on October 4th and I had it connectedwithin an hour and within 2 hours of that time I was back online even giventhe fact that I had to play around to make my ISP's software compatible withWindows XP. Guest guest
Hi. There is a version of Windoze that is " uncrashable " ?? I have heard from a few people that XP is more unstable than NT4 and 2000 and that it has an annoying interface, although those people prefer command line interfaces and find the " user-friendly " stuff to be annoying (myself included). Guest guest
I was able to enjoy the holidays even though I have been having a bit of pain since about the end of November. I have a slight question about osteoarthritis since a couple of days ago I noticed that the knuckle of my right ring finger is feeling somewhat swollen which I thought was a sign of rheumatoid arthritis. I am diagnosed with osteoarthritis. Guest guest
I heard years ago about tylenol and asprin and motrin, all brand names, that you can buy the generic forms and they have all the same ingredients in them and do the same job... Sorry you are feeling so under the weather ( That's nice that hubby helps out... My hubby does the vacuming and the dishes now for me since he is retired... That does help a lot... They make my hands swell so much ( You take care and try to get better !!! A Guardian Angel for you too !!! {{{ Healthy Hugs }}} Helen Right now, I am taking Tylenol PM (the generic version which has the same ingredients -- word for word -- as the pricier name brand) for my allergies and arthritis pain and take the generic version of Excedrin Migraine (word for word same ingredients as Excedrin Migraine and Excedrin Extra Strength but less pricy) for any migraines that I get. I was just told that UAMS has a charity thing going for those that need health care but have trouble paying for it and I will see about it tomorrow since I had to take Tylenol PM due to the perfumes and colognes that were prevalent in the food stamp office when I went there for my food stamp interview today and the fact that my face has been itching and swollen for some reason for the last couple of days (I think it is either related to lupus SLE or the fact that I had been subsisting on store bought fried chicken for the last couple of days since they sometimes use dairy to bind the coating to the chicken and there was no ingredient list -- today, I am relying on friedn chicken and rice that my MIL made since she does not use any dairy in anything that I might decide to eat ;-D ). I am going to try to get to the dishes in the double sink in the kitchen before hubby gets home from school. Hubby has said that he will attempt to vacuum next weekend since I end up in bed whenever I vacuum with the big vacuum and the light vacuum does not do a good job unless the big vacuum is used first :-{ T. aka Pegasus "Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen." - Anonymous. I am sorry that it took so long to reply to such a simple question, but, on Friday night through Sunday night, I try to only spend about 1-4 hours per day online but tend to average about 30 minutes. Guest guest
Yep, I am back to Being Sick. I left since I misunderstood when hubby said he wanted me off the Internet. He ONLY meant that he wanted me to stop reading emails that his brother () was sharing with me from 's email accounts since they were upsetting me and I had mistakenly thought he wanted me totally off the Internet. We talked about it at length this morning and he said, "Go back to your groups, they were helping you and were not anything that I would EVER WANT you to leave". Guest guest
Whew! When I saw you had left, I got very scared. I take it very personally when people leave, especially when they don't say anything about it. I think maybe they are angry, or that something happened. I need to know that kind of stuff! I don't want anyone to leave unless they have just moved on...if that's true, then maybe they just don't need this group anymore. But...people who need it and leave, I can't fix problems I'm not aware of. I'm SO glad you are back. Don't ever leave us again, we need you just as much as you need us! Guest guest
Yes, it was this (the new computer). Do not think it was a virus since it had an " unhandled exception " error coming up whenever I booted up since the day after I got it back from Gateway, so, I suspect it was headed for a serious crash from that time frame. Do not think it was a virus since it had an "unhandled exception" error coming up whenever I booted up since the day after I got it back from Gateway, so, I suspect it was headed for a serious crash from that time frame. I am sleeping a bit more and will be able to get to the doctor soon since just signed up for insurance through ManPower (' employer) so that should be kicking in soon. angelbear1129@...
