Guest guest
After what happened with their first time of fixing it -- I told hubby that I will do all work that is non-hardware related myself. Did I mention that they had repaired this once and it resulted in the problems I had been having AFTER they tried to give me a Pentium 3, Windows ME computer with NO Ethernet card back to me instead of THIS Pentium 4, Windows XP computer WITH an Ethernet card which is ESSENTIAL for me to be able to use my cable modem for my ISP? After THAT, I will do everything possible to keep it out of Gateway's hands even though the warranty is supposed to run until October 2004. By my doing the work, my computer was unusable for about 12-14 hours while, by having Gateway work on it, my computer was unusable for over a week. I worry about all your sleeping...Seems like gateway should be fixing free for you...Love and hugs Helen Yes, it was this (the new computer). Do not think it was a virus since ithad an "unhandled exception" error coming up whenever I booted up since theday after I got it back from Gateway, so, I suspect it was headed for aserious crash from that time frame. I am sleeping a bit more and will beable to get to the doctor soon since just signed up for insurance throughManPower (' employer) so that should be kicking in soon. angelbear1129@...~~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~ *** ~~~~ The Being Sick CommunityMessage Archives and Digest Attachment Pictures:-/messagesChat:- Scheduled Daily Chats at /chatBookmarks:-Add a website URL you have found useful./linksPersonal Complaints or problems:-Please contact a moderator email: -owner Subscription Details:-1) Individual email - means that every email sent to the list you receive.2) Daily Digest - sends you 25 messages in one single email for you to browse. Guest guest
Maybe if you complained a little more about it and let them know that they messed it up, and how disatisfied you are, they would get it fixed right this time! Having no computer is terrible ( At least you know what your doing... I don't ) ((( Computer Hugs ))) Helen After what happened with their first time of fixing it -- I told hubby that I will do all work that is non-hardware related myself. Guest guest
I am seeing your pumpkin stationery. I think the problem that you are having with the stationery is due to the fact that IncrediMail tends to nmot work with AOL. Some people have a saying that "you need a real ISP to use IncrediMail" LOL T. aka Pegasus ICQ 25284229 MSN Messenger pegasusnumber1@... Guest guest
The only thing I know about Pegasus is it was a Greek winged horse. I have no idea of how it relates to CML, I could find nothing on it. Annette, I stopped taking Tasigna because my heart beat so fast and hard, I could hear it on my pillow and could not sleep for 2 days. That was after 2 weeks. I got off and re-started a few weeks later at half the dose and in 2 days, my heart felt like it was going to jump out of my chest. I was not given an EKG before or after. I wrote to Novartis and they sent me a months supply. My aim was to get out of the trials, but here I am back in another trial. I have been on nothing else but trials for the past 15 years. I am one of those non-responders. They have kept me alive, as I am still here to tell the tales of all the trials I was in. It's like maintenance on your car. Keep it filled up and change the oil and it will run for a long time. Anyway, it didn' work for me after all I had heard and read about it. I think they expect everyone to react to the same dosage whether you are 17 or 77. A lot has happened to you organs in 60 years, our parts are starting to wear out. I don't know why part of the protocol is to take serum level tests. Supposedly Gleevec remains in your body for 48 hours, but I would bet that for me, it would be even longer than that. We all react differently and these are toxic drugs. If you eat enough peach seeds, you will die of arsenic poisoning. We didn't know that when we were kids and we ate them all of the time, but never reached a fatal dose. If anyone can explain what a pegasus is regarding CML, I would appreciate knowing. FYI, Lottie Duthu
