Guest guest
You may or may not be aware that there was a class action suit filed against several drug companies not for bad drugs but for overpricing. We received a refund in the mail today for drugs that were purchased between 2001 and 2005. There was no name of any specific drug. If you go to www.McKessonAWPSettlement.com, you will see a list of drugs connected to this class action suit. We never filed a suit against any company, but we did receive a settlement check. At the website, I noted that Gleevec was one of the drugs in the list that overcharged customers. You may want to go to this website and check it out, or call 1-877-625-9414 to see of you by any chance qualify for a refund. This was a suit taken up in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts, New England Carpenters Health Benefits Fund v. First DataBank, Inc. and McKesson Corporation, C/A. No. 05-CV11148-PBS if you want to check the archives. All I know is the case never went to trial, it was settled out of court, without admitting guilt. This covers brand name drugs and not generic. It was settled on behalf of everyone who purchased a brand-name drug and meets the class definition. If anyone has further information, you may want to post it. I would be interested to find out if anyone else received a settlement check. Carpe Diem, Lottie Duthu
Guest guest
Hi Lottie: My husband got a check for a class action suit for overpayment on his Tricor, and it was only $10.00. We got it last week.
