Guest guest
Hugs, . Well black also just goes with everything in addition to being slimming but yeah sometimes weight loss is more mental than physical, we need to shift how we view ourselves and change how we interact with people psychologically, at least for me. For me fat is a way of keeping people away from intimacy and not facing situations but now I am preferring to face things head on and address issues as they are thrown at me. It's not easy at all but something I need to work through to be healthy all the way around. you are beautiful both inside and out and it makes me sad that you are shy about sharing your photos. The newspaper pic of you was stellar and one of the best if not THE best to grace our homepage! And as a WW leader you inspire and help so many. It's so neat that the Firm has worked so well for you these past few months. Those workouts really are hard and you are a living example of the results they can bring. Excellent work! I was overweight my entire life and until last summer, even at my ideal weight for a few years, I'd never known what it was like to have a flat stomach, then I wasn't working out and it expanded again (I gained 5 lbs tops but my stomach muscles ceased to exist it seems, my arms got jiggly too) and it is very cool to see it coming around again. I feel so good too. Congrats to you on noticing the cut in your upper thighs!! That is a perpetual problem area for me but it is getting better too. I watch the workout videos to see if any of the instructors' inner thighs jiggle at all and when I notice even a little I feel better! ;-) It is good to make peace with your body though. It seems like such an elusive thing for so many of us. One of my WW members asked me once why I wear black a lot, she thought that once you lost weight you don't do " black for slimming. " The answer was well, I have only one pair of really nice dress pants (black) and while I do wear brighter colors on top a lot, sometimes I don't.. and, sometimes I still have days where I'm not completely confident and black for slimming helps me feel better. She, and the other people at the meeting, were surprised and relieved to hear that. Four years at this weight (only varying at most 6 pounds higher but usually within 2-3 pounds) and yes, I still have trouble seeing myself as a person at a healthy weight some days. Most of the time now, I'm pretty good with it but not always. I am shy with pictures especially too but perhaps sometime I will... thanks for asking though! :-) Re: FIRM Strength How utterly rad your tummy is flattening, , and also the overall muscular definition! Isn't that the BEST? I was noticing in forward fold tonite that I had a cut in my upper thighs I'd never noticed before and silently thanked Noel for all those grueling leg days.I can't remember the last time I had a flat tummy. Maybe up until age 22 or so? I'm 42 now. Tummy is shrinking for sure but I still have a generous gut roll I've made peace with it though. I talk to my tummy all the time. I know it will always have stretch marks and I'm fine with that, but I would oh so love to have a flat tummy again! I'm trying! Please keep inspiring, and don't be shy to send me a pic for the homepage, !!
