The condition is vastly under-diagnosed and its symptoms are often treated as other challenges creating mis- and over-medication and no change in physical discomfort and fatigue. " This is not a generally accepted view of Candidiasis. Candidiasis means that the yeasts and hyphae of C. albicans invade the tissues. It does not mean that they are simply present on the mucosal surfaces of the body. Candida is not treated by avoiding sugar. Candida can be a cause of infection of the fingernails, rarely, but it is not the usual. Toenail fungus is usually caused by Trychophyton rubrum, not C. albicans. Guest guest
I had this happen to me several years ago. The wart developed really quickly, it popped up before I even knew what was going on. I went to an EENT doc, and he had a look. Basically it's a surgical procedure to remove it, and from the way he described it, it was far more complicated than I expected-- I expected a quick freeze and walk out, but that's not what he described. Fortunately for me, my ward seemed to dry up and disappear on its own without doing anything. It happened over the course of a couple of weeks. I'd say give it a little while and see if it clears on its own before you go seek help for it. But if it keeps getting bigger, obviously don't want too long. > > Has any POZ member of this list, ever had a virus or growth > >like warts in their nose...??? > > > > > > > >________________________________ > >From: J Barrowster <barrowster@...> > > > >Sent: Tuesday, January 3, 2012 6:15 AM > >Subject: Re: Small portion meals > > > > > > > > > > " Candidiasis: POZ people should be aware of the symptoms of the overgrowth > >of Candida Albicans: candidiasis.
