Guest guest
I am glad to have you back. I missed your funny emails It is great news to hear that you are doing better. I was really sick again but this time it was a bad sinus infection. I didn't go to the doc because they are a waste of time. I am seeing a Rheumatologist Mon, the 25th to get the test results back from my first initial visit. I am going to be seeing a pain mgmt doctor on 4/16 which was referred to me by an attny. I was supposed to see one referred to me by my doc's office but they canceled on me. I waited months to see the doc, what a prick. Anyway, I denied by social security (1st time) for disability and I am going appeal. I am going to find doctors that know what the heck is going on so they will support my claim. I was referred to the pain mgmt doc by my disability atty, who is so sweet! My insurance will cover this doc so I am siked. I have been in a lot of physical pain, so many aches! I have tried the coloidal silver, very small amounts, like a teaspon a day for 3days when I had the sinus infection. I felt much better after the first day of taking it. The next day I felt so much better, it was incredible. I did 3 things so maybe it was a combination of everything that helped me. I took a hot bath the night I felt the worst. I put dead sea salt in the bath water along with a few drops of rosemary oil. I also rubbed some comfrey root extract on the parts of me that ached the worst. Then I took the coloidal silver (1teaspon). The next day I felt 80% better. I still felt the clot of mucus and blood caught in between my nose and throat but my body didn't hurt. Anyway, I am scared I will turn grey, so I am not taking huge amounts of the coloidal silver. Well, I am feeling an improvement in my health and just wanted to let you know. I am off all meds as of 11 days ago. I have no foot or hand pain at all and I think that this time it may be gone for good. Fingers are crossed anyway. I do have a really bad back ache, but is it related to all the time in a condo with a hard (firm mattress) who knows. I don't. It could have allot to do with all the time we spent on airplanes and in the rental car exploring the island of Maui. anyhow I am really excited about the fact that my foot pain is GONE, that pain was with me it was my first symptom after I got implants ya know and it has been there for so long, anyway lets see if it stays gone now this should be interesting if nothing else. The sun no longer seems to affect me as far as how I feel, that is awesome, I am tanned and feel good, and didn't end up with any rashes or redness like I did not so long ago. I hope everyone is doing good here, I have not had a chance to read all the posts and will try to catch up when I can. The trip was amazing and all I can say is Hawaii is a MUST SEE place, totally beautiful and incredible. The native women there are so great, all natural and don't seem to care what there body size is, small or big, no implants on them for sure, it was refreshing, also I didn't see so many women with implants like I thought I would, hardly any at all, just goes to show you that there are allot of women who appear to be happy with themselves out there. Guest guest
Hi It moves around. My feet and hands always turn numb along with the aches all over. I really feel that an atty for the issue with the implants is a lost cause. It is never going to go anywhere. The atty I was speaking of is for my disability claim. That is probably another lost cause but we will see. ----- Original Message ----- From: Heer Sent: Wednesday, March 20, 2002 7:51 PM Subject: Re: Hi All Hi there girl I have been missing you allot, tell me where your pain is exactly is it in the same place all the time or does it move around? Guest guest
I know I agree with you, the whole implant issue is never going to go anywhere for us, not as long as there are so many against us Someday maybe the people who harmed us will be put to some kind of Justice, that would be nice............ I am so sorry about your pain, believe me I can relate to it well. Love ya ----- Original Message ----- From: Angelika Sent: Wednesday, March 20, 2002 6:20 PM Subject: Re: Hi All Hi It moves around. Guest guest
Hi, Joyce, I did gold injections once a week for a while and did okay. The doc was eager to push me to try Enbrel when it first came out and I did. The drawback to the gold shots was the drive to the big city (1 1/2 hour) to get the shot every week. Chose antibiotic therapy a couple of years ago and glad I did cause now I am drug free. Kay ----- Original Message ----- From: joyce21248@... Guest guest
Don't worry because some people are worse off than you in some ways. You are worse off than a lot of others in many ways. My guess is that your rheumatologist is not taking your RA or related problems as seriously as he should OR you have not been clear enough in explaining all of your symptoms. Sometime in the future you should probably get a second opinion from a rheumatologist but that is likely to take a while. For the near term, check to see if your GP has someone who is covering in her absence. If not, then you might have to go to the emergency room again until your GP gets back. My guess is that you have multiple problems some of which have not been diagnosed. Ideally you should go to a clinic like Mayo or s Hopkins where a primary doctor will examine you and then call in as many specialists as needed to sort things out. Unfortunately it all takes time and money. God bless. ----- Original Message ----- From: peak317@... Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Wednesday, November 17, 2004 11:28 AM Subject: Hi all I have been reading the emails and some of you are in so much worseshape than me...that is what makes me not post anything or ask anyquestions. I feel ashamed that my aches and pains are so minor to mostof you...my heart goes out to you and you are in my prayers....thishas been a rough week for me and my primary doctor is away untilNovember 28...my RA doctor told me that the problems that I am havingshould be asked to my primary DR and not the RA DR...so I come to youfor help...here goes...for awhile (a few months maybe) I startedwaking up with my hips hurting me...my neurologist told me that I hadbursitis in both my hips and since my shoulders also hurt and lowerback too...he gave me 17 nerve blocks (not all at once), naturallythat didnt help the pain...then my feet swelled up (and ankles, moreon left side than right) and the soles of my feet were so swollen thatmy daughter took me to the emergency room...the nitwit doctor theretold me that "he doesn't know what to tell me and I should soak myfeet in ebson salt"...my daughter then asked him to check for lymes disease...so he took ablood test...a few days later my doctor called me and said that I dohave lymes disease and that I need to take strong antibiotice for amonth...a week+ later, she (the doctor) called me back and said that Ido not have lymes disease so I should go off the antibiotics and cometo her office...I was still swollen and gaining weight quickly, shewas stumped so she admitted me into the hospital for tests...at thehospital, my blood pressure was 180, my cholesterol was 499, and I wasnot given anything to lower either...instead, I was given PT to learnhow to walk with a walker (which I refused)...the doctor finally cameto see me and said that she my blood work showed that the RA was highso she sent an RA doctor to see me while I was still in thehospital...since my stomache was very swollen, they did a cat scan onby belly, it showed a shadow on my liver, so I had to go get an MRI,which showed all was ok...I was put on the Medrol pack then had to goback to the RA doctor (not sure when the RA doctor took more bloodworkbut it came back as showing that I had mild RA and mild Lupus), so Iwas back on the Medrol...and told to take until the pain subsided andto go off when pain is gone then to just take as needed...this pastweek I have not taken any Medrol, my body is still swelling but myjoints dont hurt excepet for my left shoulder, the RA doctor is nowcalling in a prescrition for plaquenil and told me that the swelling, skin tightening and also when I breath, my lungs hurt...that I need tosee my primary doctor for that...my lower back hurts so much and alsoin the center of my back, and my legs feel as if they got heaviet tolift...am I insane??? What is happening to me??? I also have headachesdaily, the kind of headaches that keep you in bed...could all this bea totally different problem and I am being treated for the wrongthing??? The pain in the middle of my back was there on and off foryears, I went to ER many times until finally they said it was mygallbladder so that got taken out in 1999...but the pain still comesback, like right now...I am ready to go to the ER again because thepain pills are not working on that pain...any advice? or am I justcrazy????
