Guest guest
Amie - Dr. Witt has wrote scripts for DOC Bands for other members of this board. I believe he is Grant's dr as well. If you decide to switch to RDA, I would hope he could accomadate you by writing a script since you are having issues. That is so cute about how the girl you are babysitting likes the band! Guest guest
Amie: Wow, sounds like you're getting a bit of a run around right now. Why in the world can't your orthotist get you in for 2 weeks? That's totally unacceptable, you're having problems with all of this, you need to be seen asap, not 2 wks from now. It's also funny how they aren't letting you talk directly to your orthotist right now. I can totally understand how frustrated you are with all of this right now. It definitely sounds like his band is sitting way too low on his forehead which is affecting his vision some, this area sounds like it needs to be trimmed a bit. If they can't get you in before 2 wks, ask for some money back or something! That totally amazes me they refuse to see you before then! I just cannot understand why fitting a band & glasses at the same time is so difficult, I must be missing something there. I would have to agree with 's & 's suggestion to maybe call Rehab Designs (Cranial Tech) and talk to them about your situation with glasses & a band. Don't give up just yet! I've been where you are (kind of) and know how you are just soooo sick of dealing with this, wondering what is the point, etc....... Debbie Abby's mom DOCgrad MI p.s....did you ever meet the mom who had a child in glasses & a band? I know you were gonna meet her a couple wks or so ago, if so how'd it go? --- In Plagiocephaly@y..., " AMIESGOSSIPBOX " <amiesgossipbox@y...> wrote: > Well, still no word from the plastic surgeon who was going to stop at > nothing to find glasses that would work with his helmet, so I am sort > of stuck right now.
