Guest guest
My twin boys have been in the helmet for almost 1 week and the helmet and their heads do not have a pleasant odor. I have used the rubbing alcohol on their helmets and placed it in the sun to dry but they still smell. I am also washing their hair every day but once the helmet goes back on, they sweat and it smells. Any advice to help take the smell out? Thanks! Guest guest
Shimi, Are you using a 91 or 99% rubbing alcohal? If not you can ask your pharmacist to order some for you. Also, are you using a strong smelling shampoo? The L'oreal Kid Shampoo line is really good. You should lather up and leave the shampoo on for the entire bath. Leaving the band to dry in the sun is a good idea too. Hopefully the sweating will decrease over the next few weeks. Guest guest
Shimi, You can also use the rubbing alcohol and let the helmets dry in the sun, we found this trick to really work well in getting some of the stink out. Good luck! ' Mom
