Guest guest
I am thinking of trying my daughter (19) on n-acetylcysteine. You can get it OTC. It supposedly has properties for glutamate regulation, and in possibly relieving addictive behaviors. (I posted a link to a Yale clinical trial with n-acetylcysteine for OCD a few posts back). She won't take any medications now, and ssri's have never seemed to work for her, over course of 8 years or so of trials. We've also tried 5Htp and inositol with no harmful effects but nothing majorly positive either. My other kids do take fish oil(coromega) but my oldest dd does not like it, nor in pill form either. nancy grace
