Risperdal, by itself, can cause excess sleepiness. Is it a high dose? Kim

Hi Kathy,

Both of my kids were lethargic on Risperdal.(had to discontinue) I know everyone

is different. Just wanted to share!

Hi Kathy,

For my DS (9), Risperdol was fine; no sedative effects. Abilify was

like a jolt of electricity through his brain, though.

Did one of your kids recently start Risperdol?
