Guest guest
WOW : That is absolutely wonderful news about having EVERYTHING covered....even mileage!!!! I am SO happy for you, it's nice to hear good ins./coverage stories for once. Debbie Abby's mom DOCGrad MI > Yes I am soooo thankful. In Missouri there is a program called First Steps ( it is in every state, different name, just differnet qualifiing factors) and he qualifies b/c Dr. stated in letter problems associated with plagio and tort and Lucas is delayed somewhat. So what this means is they will pay for the helmet 100%, PT ,OT, and speech therepy will be provided for in our home and paid at 100%, will pay $.26 cents a mile for travel. They will also pay for any other " therepy or services " he may need. We also qualify for the respite care program. We have 20 hours we can " buy " at 1.50 an hour and they turn around and pay the provider (we choose who this is) $7.50hr!! We have to pay $1 extra per hour for Caleb, but gosh what a blessing that is, a babysitter for $2.50hr!!! WOW We get all of this unitl age 3, if he needs it that long. > This is not medicare, we have private insurance, but it will not be filed, so we will not run up Lucas's lifetime maximums. There is no qualifing factor based on income!!!! > Have any of you checked into this, in the state you live in???? > > Caleb and Lucas 6mths (soon to be in a starband)
