Guest guest
Ellana: All I can tell you about restless leg syndrome is that I have it and my father has it. My father and I both have RA as well. Restless leg is also a symptom of fibromyalgia which I also have. Are you confused yet? Anyway, I do take a prescription medication for it which has helped me considerably to sleep at night. Before the medication, regardless of taking other medications, my legs would thrash around and I would normally wake up several times during the night restless and had to get up for awhile. Now, I sleep pretty well through the night. If I wake up, I go right back to sleep and do not experience the restless legs. The medication written on the bottle (I am sure it is the generic name) is CARB/EVO 25-100 mg. TAB TEVA Your guess is as good as mine but it works quite well. Sincerely, Jeannette
Guest guest
I Lately my ankle has been getting painful spasms/cramps at night. While I am sleeping it will wake me up and it starts twiching or moving on its own (moving makes it feel better). It kicks forward... Anyone have Restless Leg Sydrome? I fear that I do... Guest guest
I don't have RLS, but I do regularly get horrible cramps in my calves during the night. Does anyone know what causes these? I didn't relate them to RA, but it always is my bad leg that gets affected. If I remember, I do try and really stretch before I sleep. That seems to help a little. gloria
Guest guest
I have heard, but cannot remember where, that cramps like that are due to a lack of calcium. I will get them if I stretch my legs with my toes pointed but not if I stretch with them flexed. Makes no sense to me, but there ya go!
