Guest guest
Thanks for the great update Tina! Wow, you sure are a busy mommy with all Chase's appts. I am glad to hear the casting went well & is now over with. Also happy to hear his ear infection is all better, poor kid, ear infections are just miserable, I remember i had one when I was about 9 or 10 of Christmas, it was SO painful. Let us know when his band is in & how it all goes. Keep us updated too on all his other Dr appts and of course the MRI next month. Guest guest
Hi Tina!! I've had tubes put in my ears. It does work. It was so awesome, as soon as they were done, I could hear, REALLY hear. They worked so well that I plan on having it done again. the first set fell out, the kind I had were supposed to. They thought my own tubes would work after that, but they don't. Please let us know how Chase makes out on his hearing test. > Sorry I've been out of the loop for a while. Guest guest
Tina, had tubes and they were truly a Godsend. They really did the trick. She wore them for a year and had just one ear infection the whole time. We had to be very careful with water at bath time and on the rare occasion that she went swimming, but otherwise it was business as usual, but without the ear infections. Good luck with that and thanks for the update. Marci (Mom to ) Oklahoma > Sorry I've been out of the loop for a while. Too hard to try and > catch up. This group is so active! Guest guest
Hi Tina: That's terrific you've seen so much correction, esp. with Chase not being able to wear it as much as you'd like. Poor kid, he sure has been sick a lot. I'm sure you'll be thrilled with your decision to get him tubes, 12 ear inf. in not even a year, gosh. My nephew had tubes put in when he was abou 15 mos. old, he had numerous infections just like Chase, pretty much one a month guaranteed. Never had one infection since, and it's been a year! Good luck w/the hearing test and tubes and helmet!!! LOL Keep us posted. Debbie Abbys' mom DOCGrad MI > Sorry I've been out of the loop for a while. Too hard to try and > catch up.
