Guest guest
I hope her adjustment continues to go smoothly and you have a good fit. I was able to see the-pictures she is really a cute baby and hubby looks so happy holding her. I think the helmet looks good and if you aren't getting any red spots even better. This time will go quick- I am sure. Cant wait to hear of the progress- keep posting pictures I have a decorating link I will try and find for you about paint if no one else knows. beck
Guest guest
it looks alright to me..sorry i couldnt see the pic of daddy tho.. good luck and keep us posted.. brenda got her band today!! We finally got 's band today. The fitting went ok. It took about an hour and got a little cranky halfway through. She was getting very tired. After we got home and took a short nap we put her band on for an hour. She really didn't seem to mind at all. It just bugged her while we were putting it on. Since we've been doing neck exercises for her tort she doesn't like her head to be touched much. When we took it off there weren't any marks that lasted for more than an hour. I'm hoping it's a good fit.I've attached two pictures. One of and her daddy that we took this weekend that I wanted to share and the other from today when she was wearing her band. Does it look like it's fitting right? & (5 months, banded today!! 8/26/02)_________________________________________________________________Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.comFor more plagio info

Guest guest
, That is such a cute pic with proud daddy! She is so cute- I want to pinch those cheeks! The band looks great as far as I can tell- and if she has tort you sure wouldn't know it- she looks fantastic! Did she ever have a tilt? Looks like your doing a great job on those exercises, way to go! ' Mom
Guest guest
Thanks for the encouraging words. Can you tell is a daddy's girl? You asked if Ems ever had a tilt. I'd have to describe it as more of a slump to the left. I'm still working on strengthening her left side. She can't hold herself up on her own yet. Hopefully she'll be sitting up soon!! We switched her to a regular carseat and wherever we go we need a stroller or her infant rocker to give her a place to sit & (banded 8/26/02) > , > That is such a cute pic with proud daddy! Guest guest
How does it work out with restaurants and stuff taking places now that she's in a regular carseat? I was wondering if you take her stroller or what because is too long for her carseat but is still under weight for it. Taryn 's mom Re: got her band today!! Thanks for the encouraging words. Guest guest
Taryn, That is our biggest problem right now. can't sit up yet, but she's too big for her infant seat. We haven't really gone anywhere yet where we have needed it. Although this weekend my husband's parents wanted to go to a restaurant and we just passed cause we couldn't think of what to do with Ems. So far all I can think of is having her sit in the stroller. Or seeing if they have high chairs with long enough sides for us to prop her up with at the restaurants. I can't wait till Ems can finally sit up without falling to the left > > , > > That is such a cute pic with proud daddy! She is so cute- I want > to pinch > > those cheeks! Guest guest
Tell me about it!!!! We both have the same problem. My friend suggested the stroller idea but who wants a big lunky stroller out in the middle of the floor where people can trip over it? I was thinking about taking her infant carseat just into restaurants (not that we eat out much) and having her sit in it just for that time. I figure it can't hurt and most of the high chairs now can be turned over and the carseat fits perfectly. I know at Bob Evan's they have a carseat sling which is made out of burlap and holds her car seat perfectly. We will figure it out one day. Taryn 's mom Re: got her band today!! Guest guest
I want to poke my head into this conversation. We got rid of our infant carriers when the twins got too heavy for me to carry them both and I had to start using the stroller to go anywhere. Sam and Sara were not sitting up yet, at least not very well, but putting them into high chairs at restaurants was really good for both of them. I think it helped to strenghthen them and teach them balance, and it wasn't too long before they were sitting up on their own. And let me tell you, we don't miss those bulky carriers in the least! You can try putting in a restaurant high chair and tucking a blanket around her to help steady her. I would bet that she'll be happy being a big girl sitting at the table with mommy and daddy. Guest guest
Thanks for the idea....the only worry I have is with her tort and her already weakened neck. Maybe can jump in here and let me know what she thinks or what she did. is getting so very heavy in the carseat and I won't miss it either. Taryn 's mom Re: got her band today!! Guest guest
That's cool...any Cracker Barrels are about 30+ minutes away from us so we don't go there often. Thanks for letting me know, though, for in the future. Taryn 's mom Re: got her band today!! In a message dated 8/28/2002 2:01:01 PM Eastern Daylight Time, devynskye1@... writes: .. Guest guest
Hi Gail, Thanks for poking in I was thinking about doing that with the restaurant high chairs. As long as the sides are high enough the blanket tucking should work. I have a booster seat at home that we've been trying to practice with but the sides just aren't quite high enough where the blanket would be stable enough to work. I guess I could call wherever we are going in advance and see what kind of highchairs they have. I'm sure the person answering the phone will think I'm nuts. hehe Poor looks like a little tick bobbing around trying to stay up on her own. We gotta work those abs!!! & (5 months, banded 8/26/02) > > > , > > > That is such a cute pic with proud daddy! She is so cute- I > want > > to pinch > > > those cheeks!
