I am so happy at how upbeat you are about all of this. Espeically

with your long drives and now Lucas being upset when the band is on.

That should definitely pass soon, hopefully VERY soon for mommy's

sake. It's quite rare for babies not to tolerate the band well.

Some take longer to adjust to it than others.

Please keep us posted on his progress, my fingers are crossed you

don't need to return before the 2 wks are up & he'll be a happy boy

again!

What a great mom you are to drive so far. I know hos tough it can

be, but you are right, the end results are worth EVERY last screaming

mile.

during the night (he just screamed and I could not take it. Plus we

were not at home, he wasn't in his own bed, etc), he wore it

go away. We went back today and they made some adjustments and we

immediatly made the 6 hour drive back home. He didn't wear it in the

car, they told me it was too hot to wear it outside, in the car in

this 90+heat. Once we got back home and in the hosue we puit it back

on. He immediatly started screaming, but soon calmed down.

It sounds like you are really happy with the office and the ortho who

does Lucas' band. It sounds like they a re really accomodating,

which makes everything all that much easier for you! I hope Lucas

starts to like his band, and soon! It may take some babies a bit

longer than others, but the majority of babies get so used to the

band that they don't even realize that they are wearing it!

Keep us posted and good luck to you and Lucas!
