Re: has his helmet

Hello ! Did the ortho give you good instructions on how to put on and

remove the helmet? If not you may want to pay him another visit to make sure

you have it just right. Also, the helmet should not be shifting so low that

it obstructs his vision. If that is happening then an adjustment may be

necessary. It seems odd that it just popped off by itself. I think that might

concern me more then anything else. Maybe a call to the ortho would be in

order to address some of your questions and concerns.

I'm glad that you have the helmet now and I hope all the details will be

worked out soon.

I would really ask your ortho questions about the fit and for sure have

him/her address those eye concerns. A locally made helmet is only as good as

the experience of the ortho- and there have been a few members with problems,

and plenty more without problems, but just be on top of it and have your

ortho explain away all concerns. I'm not really familiar with what to expect

with a local helmet, so I hope others can offer you advice on what is

normal/abnormal or what to expect and what not. Good luck and I hope

does better with adjusting to it.

Hooray!!!!! I'm so glad that has his band and is doing well. Such good

news! Yes, it will fit loose for the first couple of weeks, but that is

normal. As long as you don't have spots that don't fade within and hour you

should be okay.

Keep us posted!!!

Great news for ! I'm so glad to hear he's adapting pretty well. We

also had a loose fit, and most do in the beginning, we would shift it back as

it too would move forward a bit a make him look like a shar-pei puppy with a

wrinkly nose. But if its not compromising vision, it should start getting

more snug very soon. Good luck and cheers to good growth spurts!
