Hayden's casting

Marilyn,

Good luck next week at the casting, all I can say is try to bring a comfort

item (pacifier, bottle, lollipop, musical toy) that may distract Hayden from

what's happening. I have heard that for some kids, it was smooth sailing.

For us, was fine until they sat him up to do the back part- then

there was nothing that we could do to make him happy. But it was literally

over in 10 mins.- no exaggeration. And, I would take Daddy or another set of

helping hands.

It has been so long since I have had time to post, and read the

messages. Hayden has not been feeling well lately so I have spent

every minute making him feel better- and no time for computer.

His casting is next friday. We are anxious and nervous. I have been

putting a little ball cap on him to get him use to something on his

head. Any tips to make casting day a breeze?

Marilyn:

Sorry to hear little Hayden has been under the weather :( Hope he's

good & healthy again soon!

I suggest bringing along your husband or antoher close family member

to the casting, bring a favorite toy of Hayden's, his pacifier if he

takes one, and a bottle. Also music if he likes that.

Good luck next week, let us know how it goes.

Marilyn,

The best part of the casting is that it is quick. It is over before you know it!

Take an extra set of hands and some toys that might distract. Also, bottle,

binkie or blanket if any of those things would be comforting.

Good luck and be sure to let us know how it goes!
