Have you already started helmet therapy though through the Mayo clinic? If so, shouldn't the insurance company continue to cover it until the helmet therapy is finished? Or are you talking about a few different helmets, in which case you would have to use your new insurance company to attempt to cover them? At any rate, that really stinks. I know about insurance company changes as my husband has changed jobs about three times in the last year!

Heidi,

I have a suggestion...you can do the COBRA...it's expensive...but probably not

as expensive as paying for the helmet...you can do that until you are done with

the helmet and that way it would still be covered....i'm not sure if that's

something you are willing to do...

I know, I wish I could, but it ends tomarrow, and the new one starts

that day, even though they have not signed anything yet. Bummer,
