Guest guest
Yay Logan. , Don't feel guilty. You are definitely doing the right thing getting the helmet. It definitely takes some time to get used to. I still hate to see in his band and it will be a week tomorrow. But it gets easier.....and it will all be worth it. 's helmet shifts a lot too...Charlotte said that will happen the first couple of weeks...but will get better. How are his red spots? Well now we are both started with the helmets..and pretty soon we will both be talking about how round their heads are and how happy we are that we did this!! He seems to be doing okay. He's down for the night now and woke up crying. I don't know if it was because of the band or not. It is shifting so it's almost covering his ear while he sleeps. Should I worry about that?? I was fine all day with him in his helmet, but watching him cry in his crib, moving his helmeted head back and forth, I just felt so guilty. Like I should have PREVENTED his need for this. Even though I thought I was over the guilt issue. I picked him up and nursed him and he hasn't cried since. I just worry about it shifting. *sigh* I just have mixed feelings.... -/Logan 6.5 months 1st day DOC Band (restless and anxious in PA)

Guest guest
, Logan looks so cute and happy in his band. I'm so relieved to see well deserving babies finally get their bands. Maybe his messed up nap schedule had something to do with him waking up crying tonight. I suggest you try really hard to get him on his normal schedule tomorrow and I bet you will see a much happier Logan tomorrow night. You are doing the right thing. Today I ran into someone that I met 2 years ago while my oldest daughter was going to Gymboree. I didn't know what it was at the time, but I remember that this girl had a really flat head. Today her hair was in a single pony tail in back, and her head was still really flat. I'm sure her poor mother had no idea that she could get treatment for her daughter. Hang in there, and let the rounding begin. Gail, Sam and Sara's mom, DOC grads Logan got his band, pics Whew, we've been in Paramus ALL DAY. Guest guest
, Love the pics!!!! Especially with you and your great, big beautiful smile for little Logan- too cute and so loving! If you are anxious, your sure doing a great job for Logan not to notice- good for you! The first couple of days are hard, your still a little unsure about whether this is all worth the trouble, and in a week you'll start saying, this is no trouble at all, and in no time you'll start seeing results, trust me!!!! I think Gail is right, he was probably a little off his game since his naptime was messed up, give it some time and I'll just bet he's going to do fine with it. If the ear looks like its touching, rubbing, or pinching at all, get that area cut out better around the ear. I looked for correction, but also comfort as well- you will be able to tell CT more about what's happening when sleeping, playing, etc.- so let them know if you feel its a problem. The shifting will lessen very soon, as you start getting some growth going on, and with Logan's age, he's probably in for some huge growth spurts soon. Good luck and keep us posted! Guest guest
I think you'll see Charlotte. She is still the OT, he is just an assistant. At least, that's what I gathered..... -/Logan 6.5 months DOC > In a message dated 8/21/2002 6:21:19 PM Pacific Daylight Time, > iammichelle@e... writes: > > > > PS Charlotte has a new assistant, .
