We had our first appt at cranial tech after being in the helmet for 1 week.

Charlotte said that she can already see some growth in the occipital bone (i

think..something like that) on the bottom of 's head. So she shaved a

little off the helmet in that area...so that there was more room for growth.

She said we don't have to come back for 2 weeks...b/c there is plenty of room

for growth in the helmet. We thought we had to go back every week...so i was

thinking it was good that we had to go back in 2 weeks..b/c that means he's

doing well. But then i'm thinking...is that b/c he's not having fast growth?

LOL. But she did shave some off the helmet today..so i'm thinking that it was a

good amount of growth and it's only the first week. LOL..i'm so confused. But

she did say there was some growth..so that is what counts. Just wanted to

update everyone!!

Thanks Debbie! No, i'm about 10 minutes away..so even if i had to go every week it wouldn't be a problem. But the week off is nice. I just hope that by the time we go back next time...there is a lot more growth..LOL. :) She showed us the molding of his head (i think you guys said it's called a headsicle...lol). And it looked so funny..but that is 's head. Anyway, she did say that for our next appt with the cranial specialist (which is in a month) that she would let us take it to show him..b/c 's head will be looking a lot different by then. So that i think is good news...

I am so glad! Way to grow ! I think after 7 months the babies

go every two weeks because growth slows.
