Guest guest
Hello Everyone, I can't recall if I already posted about this or not, if so I'm sorry. We met with the neurologist on Monday, for Chase's development delays. It went very well. He didn't find anything wrong from what he observed and things he did with Chase. So that was a HUGE relief! He is going to request one more blood test that checks muscle tone, not sure when that will happen yet. Now we've got to sit and wait for the MRI on September 18th. The reason we have to wait so long is because they have to sedate him, which means there needs to be an anesthesiologist present, so they have to schedule according to HIS/HER schedule. Took Chase to the his pediatrician yesterday for a follow up to his ear infection and cough. Ears were clear! Yeah! We talked about his numerous ear infections, so just to be safe she's going to refer us to an ENT dr. and have some hearing tests done. I'll let you all know when that happens. Today I took him to get casted for his cranial band at Hanger. They say they can make one similar to the DOC band. I just don't want to waste anymore time going through an appeal process, since he's already 10 months old. The guy that did it was great! He said Chase's plagio isn't that severe, but he is older, so we're not sure how long he'll have to wear it. I chose a baby blue plastic color and then I'm going to buy some stickers to decorate it. They actually have transfers they can melt onto the plastic. Pretty cool. The only bad thing is, I wanted to bring my camera to take pictures. He looked sooo cute! It looks like he should start getting is physical therapy through Early Intervention in a couple of weeks. I'm anxious for it to get started, so I will also keep you all posted on his progress in that area. One last thing, thank you all for your support and advice through this stressful time. It means so much to all of us. Love, Tina & Chase

Guest guest
Thanks ! His hearing seems fine, cause loud noises bother him. He's never had really bad infections, but still. I'm glad to hear they've helped. I'm trying to be sure that I'm doing the right thing! Tina
