Previously I have only used the " You Rock " description for Niki..but I'm including you in the category of group members who Rock. I honestly belive most doctors aren't clueless..they just have trouble keeping up with new information. Our babies doc is only 35/40 or so and he was all over plagio (he knew what it was, referred us to a specialists right away, etc...). So we didn't need to educate him at all. It is quite possible a Rocking mom like you opened his eyes to the problem a year ago or so..and now we are benefiting from it. I really hope you helped him realize how important it is to get the FACTS of everything, not just an opinion.! Let us know if/when you get that handout.
