Guest guest
What a bummer Heidi I suppose your 1st step here would be to send in your paperwork & find out why they don't cover the helmets, then go from there with your appeals. Sorry about that, that really stinks! How's Jeffry doing? Is he still in his 2nd helmet or on to a 3rd now? Hope he's still rounding nicely! Debbie Abby's mom DOCGrad MI > Hi guys, I am so mad. Guest guest
Heidi, This totally stinks!! I can't believe they won't cover the helmets for you. I know when I was pregnant with the twins, my hubby got a new job which meant switching over to a new insurance policy and initially we were told that my appointments wouldn't be covered since it was a pre-existing condition before switching insurances. We called member's benefits hotline (or whatever its called) and they told us, as long as we had some type of documentation that we had been going to drs appointments all along, then I would be covered with no problems. I can't remember the logic behind it, but if you could show documentation that you have been getting Jeffry treated all along, then they would pay as contuining treatment. I don't know, just throwing ideas your way! I hope you guys can get this all figured out real soon! Niki Kaylie & Danny (STAR grads) Phila., PA > Hi guys, I am so mad.
