Now that we finally have the rx (after two months of haggling and

talking with doctors) we can't get an appt for a casting! I had

scheduled one awhile back when we thought we had the rx - but had to

cancel it when I didn't have the paper in hand. Then, I tried to get

an appt the day I was meeting with another specialist in Cleveland,

but no one from Straight Ahead called me back. Then, I called them

the Friday after my appt (which was on Wed). I got a message back

that I was scheduled for what sounded like 11 am that day (it was 10

and I was in Columbus - a good three hour drive!) I called back and

had to leave yet another message. finally returned my call

and said that the appt was for Sat at 11. I had told him the last

time we talked that I couldn't do Sat. My hubby and I were trying to

figure out how we could make it work, when said we could do

the next Sat (8/31) We decided that one week wouldn't make that big

a difference and decided to take the 8/31 appt. Then, last night

calls and says they can't do 8/31 because FedX won't pick up

the casting on Sat b/c of Memorial Day. Well, my hubby the almost

lawyer (gets his bar results in Nov) grilled her and decided it

sounded more like she and were going to be away and probably

so were the techs in AZ and so they didn't want to do it till next

Fri (9/6 at 4pm) and the band would be back on the 18th. YET

ANOTHER MONTH WILL GO BY. I really wanted him in the stupid thing by

the end of this month since he's now already 11mos. I am beginning

to wonder if God is trying to tell me something and maybe I am just

not listening. DH insisted that they get us in sooner than Fri for

the casting (like Tues) but we got the " we'll call you back on that

one " UGHHHHH
