Check that out, it has a lot of great info.. If you have a Cranial Tech in your area & insurance will cover the DOCband then I would definitely go with them! Like I mentioned before, Cranial TEch specializes in the DOCband and plagio babies. That's the ONLY condition they treat and the only product they manufacture. They spend weeks training their OT's before they'll let them treat plagio babies with their bands. My daughter 1st used a STARband for 3 mos with no success at all. Her STARband orthotist wasn't experienced in treating plagio babies & actually ended up causing more harm to her head. We then switched her to a DOCband which we traveled 4 hrs one way to receive. It was worth every screaming mile!!! Many parents have had success with the STARband, I unfortunately did not. Good luck, I'm sure you'll make the right decision.
