Guest guest
yes I woudl love to know this too. elizabeth Caleb 2 and Lucas 6mths (going in to a starband on 8/26) PS our precious babies are getting their bands on the same day! Reactions to bands will be getting her STARband on the 26th. I was just curious about what kind of reactions to expect from people when we are out in public. I don't really mind if people stare but are there any questions that people seem to ask on a regular basis when you are out? I'd like to be able to answer them intelligently. has been so nosy lately I have the feeling she'd like the extra attention, if any, wearing the band may bring!Mother of (will be banded 8/26/02)CaliforniaFor more plagio info
Guest guest
, In hindsight, I would have to gauge our time out in public with the band on as pretty easy, although when I was going through it, I was more aware of each day and each stare. I never let the stares bother me, because its human nature, heck I'll look at a lady with blue hair, coke bottle glasses, etc., and I just think anything AT ALL out of the norm will cause a least a passing glance. No harm, no foul. We didn't have too many adults ask about it, but kids were fascinated and when I explained that he did not have a boo-boo and it didn't hurt, they seemed to think it was pretty cool. Any negative comments, and I had maybe 2, you have to just chalk up to their lack of education. I would kiss and snuggle and play with in waiting rooms, and people looked at me like I had the weight of the world on my shoulders, why was I so darn happy? You have to have a positive attitude and others will take notice, and so will your baby. Good luck and don't worry- your fearing the unknown, and its really not all that bad, so keep your chin up, you can handle anything and everything!
