Guest guest
and Matt, Let me chime in here. Will you be going to the Dallas office? That's where we went and it is awesome. There is a member of this group in this area that had UHC pay without having to appeal. The mom is Ana and her son Jace wore a band at the same time as my twins. I ran into her last week at the mall and she told me that they got payment without a fight. Her computer is down right now, but she said that she would email me as soon as it is fixed. I'll let her know that you might be looking for info on United. You can also ask the clinic to ask Ana to contact you if she has info that might help. I know they won't give out phone numbers, but you could ask. Good work in being so proactive in getting help for a. You are doing the right thing. Gail, Sam and Sara's mom, DOC grads Response to Debbie Hi Debbie,Thank you so much for such a supportive email. You really made us feel better about a's situation. We are going ahead with the DOC Band regardless of the insurance decision (we are fortunate to have a CT office near our house). If we are denied, we figure we can always appeal their decision WHILE our baby is getting treated. We have United Health Plan PPO. We are in Texas, if that helps. We'd be interested in learning if this plan paid for other bands - and how people got them to pay.Thank you again, and Matt> > > 9.
