Guest guest
Gail, What a pain huh? It wasn't even an option in mine or my husband's mind whether we were going to wait for approval or not. Without even discussing it the plan was - act now, worry about insurance later. I'm just glad that the neurologist didn't hesitate at all when it came to approving the band. I couldn't stand to wait while 's head got worse and worse. Oh how I wish your lottery theory was true!! hehe I know that if insurance doesn't cover the cost we're looking at a pretty steep sum. It doesn't help that I'm a SAHM and we rely completely on my huband's income but luckily is the first baby on my side of the family and everyone has come together offering to help out if needed. We've started a Fund in the family!! It seems the best way for me to get through all this is to keep positive and persistence!!! I'm so thankful for everyone here who has such great advice and support to offer. & (5 months, band on 8/26/02) > > You probably saw from my earlier post that our external appeal > upheld Cigna's original denial.
