Guest guest
: Well I just got done replying to your first post, so scratch that reply. Sorry she woke up & couldn't get back to sleep . Some babies take longer to adjust to their bands, esp. sleeping in them. Hopefully she'll get used to it soon. It's not unheard of - give her some more time. Guest guest
Debbie, Thanks for asking about . Looks like tonight is going really well. crashed again at 5 p.m. and she's been asleep since. I'm not sure what was the problem last night. I have noticed that she is getting a little bit better at trying to roll over and maybe that was affecting her sleep. She maybe wanted to play some more in bed. I don't know though. It seems that overall she's really taken to the band a lot better than I had anticipated. Today was kind of funny because I give her naked tummy time on my bed before her bath (she lays on the corner of my bed and watches Baby Mozart) anyhow, when I took off her band to clean it she just started giggling and smiling at me like... " whew, that felt good!! " I think it helped that I cut her hair off where the band lays, she's still sweaty but not as much matted hair. I'll put a pic of her new hairdo in the photo section & (banded 8/26/02) > > It's now 11:50 p.m. and is finally asleep. Guest guest
Good ! I hope she slept well last night. Hopefully she didn't sleep well the night before for some other non-band reason - who knows huh?? LOL. Those Baby Mozart videos are so cool! Abby still loves her Baby Einstein video. I just checked out her pictures, she is so cute. That's a STARband she's in right? Good luck, here's to a good night's sleep! Guest guest
Debbie, Yes, she is in a STARband. We're on our third night now and things are looking good so far (I hope I didn't just jinx myself). Right now I'm just worried about her overheating. It's soooo hot here tonight. I have the A/C on full blast but of course 's room is the hottest room in the house. Anyhow, thanks for the continued encouragement. It seems to be getting a little easier for Ems everyday. I have a question though. Do you think that the bands maybe help out with physical development in any way? I ask because before I put the band on she seemed nowhere near being able to roll, just kinda flailed her legs with no direction. Since she's been wearing the band her movements are much more deliberate and if I put her on her side she rolls over with ease. Including being able to reposition her arms (something she could never do when I would roll her over myself) I was wondering if because her head was so off kilter maybe the band is balancing her out? I don't know maybe that's a silly theory but it seems like such a coincidence. & (banded 8/26/02) > > > > It's now 11:50 p.m. and is finally asleep.
